What happens if your lithium battery is damaged?

If your lithium battery is damaged, several events can occur. These events are classified according to their level of risk:

Low-risk events are associated with reduced battery performance:
čĺą low voltage,
čĺąThe current is small and the final capacity is low.
These events do not pose a threat to users, but should be monitored.

High risk as follows:
ÔÜíThe battery catches fire or explodes
ÔÜí Electrolyte leakage (toxic and flammable)
ÔÜíLithium is extremely reactive and can catch fire when in contact with water (and even air humidity). Overheating, overcharging, and shock also promote thermal reactions inside lithium batteries.
