If your lithium battery is damaged, several events can occur. These events are classified according to their level of risk:
Low-risk events are associated with reduced battery performance:
💥 low voltage,
💥The current is small and the final capacity is low.
These events do not pose a threat to users, but should be monitored.
High risk as follows:
⚡The battery catches fire or explodes
⚡ Electrolyte leakage (toxic and flammable)
⚡Lithium is extremely reactive and can catch fire when in contact with water (and even air humidity). Overheating, overcharging, and shock also promote thermal reactions inside lithium batteries.
