If your lithium battery is damaged, several events can occur. These events are classified according to their level of risk:
Low-risk events are associated with reduced battery performance:
đ„ low voltage,
đ„The current is small and the final capacity is low.
These events do not pose a threat to users, but should be monitored.
High risk as follows:
âĄThe battery catches fire or explodes
⥠Electrolyte leakage (toxic and flammable)
âĄLithium is extremely reactive and can catch fire when in contact with water (and even air humidity). Overheating, overcharging, and shock also promote thermal reactions inside lithium batteries.
